Q: What’s the best contact number, if I need to get in touch with someone about my SkyRun entry?

Q: Where do I make payments?

A: To the Far and Wide office, or the Wild Goat Travel office – both located at The Hub, 170 The Chase, Groombridge

 

Q: When do I have to make payments by?

A:

  • Payment for entries must be made by 31st July 2026.

  • Payment for accommodation must be made by 29th September 2026.

  • Payments for meals can be made at each venue.

 

Q: What happens if I can’t make a payment by the deadline?

A: Get in touch with us to make a payment plan. We are more than happy to discuss this. Failure to get in touch by the 31st of July will result in entries being forfeited, accommodation being released, and both being offered to those on the waiting list.

 

Q: When do you stop taking new entries from the waiting list?

A: 1st November 2026.

 

Q: How far is it from Far and Wide to Aberfoyle?

A: Approximately a 2-hour drive (60km).

 

Q: When do you release the GPX files for each race?

A: These will be sent out about 3 weeks before the event, when the Turaco Trail has been freshly cleared, and the final version of each route confirmed.

 

Q: I’m not able to take part anymore. Can I get a refund?

A: Please refer to the Cancellation Policy on our website.
 

Q: I am an international, and I need help organising transport and accommodation from Harare International Airport, how do I go about this?

A: Pop a message to Jazzy on +263780661516 or via email on skyrun@farandwide.co.zw, and she will help make this adventure seamless. All you need to do is get to Harare International Airport (Robert Gabriel Mugabe International).

 

Q: Can I sell my entry to a friend?

A: If your friend is on the waiting list, then yes. All you need to do is reach out to Jazzy on +263780661516 or via email on skyrun@farandwide.co.zw. Please note that the entry fee will be credited to your friend's entry, less the $100 admin fee, which is still payable. 
 

Q: What accommodation options are available?

A: We have limited space in luxury rooms, cottages, and wooden cabins, but we have plenty of glamping tents, which come with two single beds, a mattress, a hot shower, and flush toilets. You book your accommodation through Jazzy on +263780661516 or via email on skyrun@farandwide.co.zw

Q: Is SkyRun safe in terms of being able to run completely alone?
A: Yes, it is an extremely safe event from that perspective. The whole race is on the Turaco Trail, which is in Nyanga National Park, and will not have any other people on the trail during SkyRun. In terms of wild animals, there is considered to be no dangerous game in Nyanga National Park.
