The Ultra 56KM
The Ultra 56km is an intense test of endurance, taking runners through Zimbabwe’s rugged Eastern Highlands, with over 3,000 meters of elevation gain across steep ascents, deep gorges, and untamed wilderness. From the punishing Pungwe Gorge climb (3.5 km / 750m ascent) to summiting Mt Nyangani.

Route Description
The Ultra 56km kicks off from Far and Wide Mountain Centre, deep in Zimbabwe’s Eastern Highlands. This race is a true test of endurance, combining steep climbs, rugged terrain, and breathtaking scenery.
